Site Purpose
Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. It is our intention to use this site as a way to keep our community
informed on the progress of Veteran's Park. We hope to provide information on fundraising events, up coming construction, as
well as activites held at the park.
Veteran's Memorial Park is located on Hwy 70 in White Bluff TN, near the Dickson/Cheatham County line. The park is on
65 acres purchased with money raised from business donations, community fundraisers and through state and federal
grants. Presently it contains 2 lighted ballfields and a temporary concession stand. Long term construction plans include:
3 additional ballfields, basketball courts, a walking track, community center and pavillions. As well as, a
building that will house a concession stand, press box, restrooms, and storage. Batting cages are also being built by our
local Little League.
Veteran's Park is home to the William James Middle School Colonels baseball and Lady Colonels Softball teams in
the early spring. The Dickson County Bull Dog Jr. Pro football teams use the park as a practice facility. It's also
home to the White Bluff division of the Dickson County Little League. Over 200 players, representing 20 teams, enjoyed the first
season played on the new fields in 2004.
As proud as we are of our new park, we know we have alot of work ahead of us. But, we would like to thank all those who
have supported the park's fundraising efforts over the years.
